HITS & MISSES - The trials and travails of the Periwinkle Penguins, a girl’s school fast pitch softball team. This 4-part series focuses on the team as a group, how they work together, how they overcome internal friction, how they use teamwork to achieve a common goal. It also shows that “winning” doesn’t necessarily mean “scoring the most points.”
 
The story covers everything from athletics and sportsmanship to the difficulties in living a proper life when challenged to take the easy way out. The softball team is an analogy to real life, demonstrating that true heroism is not found in spectacular fluke moments but in living every day consistent with your values and beliefs.
